What a cool experience!!!! So easy and smooth! I absolutely recommend taking the shuttle and skipping the 7 mile climb to the trailhead . Definitely take a map..... it's easy to sail right by the turns. All trails lead to town!!! Where there is food and drinks! Mt Shasta is an awesome little town!
