I have always been treated respectfully and quickly. Blood tests that are a nightmare are fine here.
I have been to different labs in the Sharp system and this location sets itself different from the rest in a negative way. The front reception was very noncommunicative. Unless they are approached they will not help, greet, or acknowledge you. Secondly I was told to come pick up a kit to take home. It was not told to me that I would need to wait over 20 minutes to just receive one because I needed to have instructions . I had to ask why I had waited and then I was given the explanation. I am so disappointed in my experience today with one of the phlebotomists. I went in for my 3 hour gluclose test and had been fasting for 8 hours. I was given the clear drink and had 5 minutes to drink it. The girl seemed distracted and mouthing off to her colleagues in the back. At about 75% done with the drink she realized she forgot to take my blood before I started drinking. I was already dreading this appointment and now I have come back and do this all over again! I have always received friendly service at check-in and a pleasant experience with the laboratory technicians who have helped me.
I had a truly disappointing experience at check-in. The customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to my needs, leaving me feeling frustrated and neglected. The woman working made zero attempt to help or guide me. She simply said “it’s the weekend, we cannot process that…” I’ve never come to this office during the week.
