Been here twice now for my partners surgeries and I’ve been extremely happy with their care, concern, and thoughtfulness to not only him but for me as a waiting family member. Both Sandi & Brenda are beyond wonder!! They need a raise. Thank goodness for these ladies & their joyful personalities!! Thank you Grossmont!
I had a Thyroidectomy done at the Sharp Grossmont outpatient facility and I think from when I got there till discharge. Everybody was fantastic nurses the anesthesiologist and of course my doctor this place is clean and everyone is so nice they made me feel comfortable, I would recommend this place to anybody.
Felt like I was walking into a disorganized and chaotic high school rather than a center filled with health professionals. Disorganization led to several different nurses preparing me for surgery, and they were passive-aggressive with each other when discussing my care. The anesthesiologist and my doctor were truly professional. I felt safe going under. I woke to a female nurse who had the most uncaring bedside manner I've ever seen. My husband is having so much difficulty getting basic maintenance medication. Sharp has considerably gone down hill. I’m terrified with what’s going to happen if he has a medical emergency. If they can’t fill a prescription, can they save a life?
Absolutely awful experience at this surgical center. But first… let me say this… anesthesiologist was fabulous, surgeon was amazing. This OR is a surgical basement. No one is allowed back with you. Probably because you are literally in a closet waiting for surgery. The chair can’t even recline because the closet is so small. There was a woman named Mitch pre op that was nice.
