On June 28, 2025, I arrived with my partner at Sharp Medical Center Drive Labor and Delivery at around 10:30am. I had previously called and informed them over the phone that I thought my water had broken and was advised to come in. We showed up and were checked in right away. The young lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. But that didn't last. La atención de las enfermeras no es buena, ni la comida, te dan lo que quieren y les vale si acabas de parir solo te dan jugo si no es horario de la comida. Te dan la sensación de que es más el interés de lo que cobran que tu salud y la del bebé.
They prioritize beds and bed availability over actual patients and patients care. Very scary. It’s like the fast food assembly line hospital/medical style. They just want to get you out quicker than you were admitted in. Love sending people home fast and expecting you to make multiple trips back and forth and inconvenience you. Not very practical or logical thinking.
