Ever since they got bought out by a for-profit company they have gone down hill. As far as the rent-a-doctors, oops, I mean hospitalist, it is bad too. Makes it better for PCP's, because their workload is a lot less, but as far as patient care, it sucks! Don't tell me a rent-a-doctor, can come in and read your chart in 2 minutes, and that makes him as knowledgeable, as your PCP, who you have been going to for years and built a professional relationship with. This hospital has gone way down hill this past year. We are just so fortunate that we could get my Mother out of there before she died of yet another infection. The staff was not friendly, took up to 1/2 hour to come to your aide after hitting the buzzer. My Mom managed to pull her IV out accidentally blood everywhere and no one answered my call for help. Rude nurses. They either just don't care about their patients or are highly unskilled and know nothing. Rude ER nurses too. I wouldn't go here if I was dying!!
