I can't thank Dr. CLANCY enough. She did my reconstruction after double mastectomies. She's kind and caring and gave me my dignity back. I highly recommend her!
Breast reduction (aka reduction mammoplasty) is (ahem) a *big* deal: it's major surgery, often taking 3-4 hours; involves lots of variables (ensuring that the new breasts are symmetrical, while minimizing/hiding scarring, etc.); and (perhaps most critically) has an enormous impact on the the self-image of the patient (IOW, me). Dr. Clancy did my surgery to correct the encapsulation that radiation caused. After 3 other surgeons said that the surgery would not be successful, Dr. Clancy was reassuring that we could proceed and it was possible to fix it. Having had implants prior to Cancer I was familiar with what to expect. Surgery went extremely well, I was only in discomfort for 2 days and everything felt great.
