Unfortunately I’ve had to deal with Dr Sharma and the staff at Metro Infectious Disease twice in the past few years for different foot infections. Both times have been a nightmare. Their lack of communication, follow up and professionalism have made an already stressful situation worse. It takes numerous phone calls to get any response from them. Never called with blood test results. I had to call them. It took 3 days to get the orders sent to remove my PICC line after my infusions were complete. Stay clear!
My Mom is a patient of Dr Sharma. He is very knowledgeable about the infections she is fighting and takes the time to answer all of our questions. His medical assistant Tallia is phenomenal. She is my point of contact for follow ups and questions regarding my mother's condition. She always answers her phone and always follows through with return phone calls. She is so kind and patient with us as we navigate this long road of illness. I can't say enough good things about her!
