Zia was an absolutely delight! My son (2) really adored her and she did great communicating with both us and him! We’ve been here a few times but this was the first time that little man really couldn’t stop talking about his time there, even to strangers who said hi at WalMart lmaoooo

My son's first haircut was this weekend. The haircut itself gets a 5/5, the stylist was skilled to handle my busy toddler. However the customer service aspect gets a 1/5. We walked in and weren't welcomed at all. It was just "what's the name" and then "pick a car." Once we picked out our seat, our stylist came over and just said "what are you looking to get done" (not a "hello my name is ___ and I'm going to be your stylist today") and it was just very blunt. This was our first time going to Sharkey’s. My daughter definitely wants to go back! My daughter tends to be pretty easy in these situations, but I could tell Emily is considerate. She’s also quick. Emily is also the first hairstylist to pick up on the fact that my daughter has wavy hair. I always thought my kid had straight hair. I did not expect the nail polish application at the end to be complementary. That was a nice touch.
