I was disappointed with our experience at Sharkey’s during my daughter’s recent haircut appointment. We arrived about 10 minutes early and immediately were told, “You’re 10 minutes early, you need to wait for your turn.” We completely understood we would need to wait, but the tone and greeting did not feel welcoming at all. There appeared to be only one stylist handling all of the appointments, and we were still taken back about 5–10 minutes after our scheduled time. Horrible! Did not get the cut my daughter asked for. Asked for tinsel, instead of telling me she didn’t know how to put it in properly, used butterfly clips to attach a chunk to her bangs and was going to charge me for it?!? Then they had the receptionist In Charge of nail painting who managed to paint more of my daughters finger than nail. Wouldn’t even recommend taking a baby doll to get a cut here.
Natalie was so amazing! What a genuine person full of warmth and joy! She was so good at paying attention to what we wanted and so patient. It was such a pleasure to work with her. We will definitely be back with our kids to see her.
