What used to be a powerhouse on the street has diminished to just a shadow of its former reputation. Sharestes was once a formidable force. Now, they are merely a bad vibe. They have been hit with lawsuits from investors, partners, and employees. All of this was driven by the reckless Allen Shaynefekr. Greed took over him. Please stay away; there are many other reputable lenders on the street.

Beware, and proceed at your own risk. Pay careful attention to the fact that most of the positive reviews are from loan recipients - not investors! I invested into some ShareState loans back in 2019. Multiple are past due, lingering for years, in default. ShareStates goes months at a time without sharing updates (e.g., on one loan, the last update was shared 6+ months ago). I would never trust them with my money again, and would strongly caution others before considering investing with them.
