Listen, she really is the best. Don't listen to these other idiots. It also doesn't even matter what you think because she's so good that she is so busy that she isn't really taking new patients. So it sort of doesn't even matter what you think of her. But I think she's the best, wouldn't change in a million years. Incredibly responsive anytime I've ever needed to go into the hospital or anything like that. Also very personable and caring. I wish she had room for other members of my family!
Dr. Israel has been my doctor for 13+ years. I feel very well cared for by Dr. Israel. She is quick to get back to me when I need to discuss health concerns and her office is very responsive.
Dr. Israel's office did a following up call after my husbands appointment. It's called chronic care management service for 20 minutes. They charged my insurance company $114.60. We DID NOT authorize this phone call. I have called Dr. Israel's office and Stamford Health multiple times and I am getting nowhere. I refuse to pay the co-pay for $15.00. So beware of phone calls and ask if they are charging you for this service.
This woman is THE WORST DOCTOR in the world. A pretty bad human being in general. I repeatedly saw her for shortness of breath. She sent me for CT scans for years & called me with the results, always saying I was fine. She told me that I was short of breath because I was LAZY!! Mind you, I was taking back to back yoga classes then hitting the gym for an hour to try to feel better & like myself again. Saw Dr. Israel after my primary doctor retired (same office). Had just been to emergency room for a nerve impingement in my neck. I was in extreme pain and hadn't slept in three days. She told me I "looked fine to her" and that she's had a stiff neck before and to take a bath....and that the emergency room doctor shouldn't have given me "any" pain medication.
