This was my first time visiting Shapes and the experience was amazing. The front desk staff were friendly, patient, informative and even helped me book into a second yoga class last minute. I took two yoga classes that day, one barre style class and one hot flow style class. They were facilitated by the same instructor, who was great. If I could give zero stars, I would. The service here is absolutely terrible, and the manager (NIDHI) is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. My cousin originally went there just to inquire about membership options, and the manager told her to bring a void cheque so she could “enroll” me. Later, when I went in to cancel, I was told it was a full-year membership — something that was never explained properly to us in the first place. Worst Experience Ever – Stay Away! This place is a complete scam. I went with four friends to sign up, and the so-called “manager” Nidhi told us we only needed to give one month’s notice to cancel. Based on that, three of them signed up. Guess what? None of them ever went even once because of their schedules, and when they tried to cancel, suddenly there were hidden cancellation policies that were never explained.
