I've had two surgeries and two revision surgeries because of Dr Williams and after the second revision she told me that surgery wasn't an option for me but I kept on her saying I wasn't feeling good and that something was wrong she finally after six months referred me to a plastic surgeon who found another hernia and repaired it without mesh so I wouldnt recommend her to anyone after what I've been through in less than two years it's ridiculous I can't lift anything without pain
Business response:
I am sorry you had a difficult postoperative course. Any surgery carries the risk of complications and the need for additional surgeries. Persistent discomfort is also a possibility, especially after hernia repair. Prior to your surgery, you would have signed a document stating you understood and acknowledged these possibilities. Outcomes are also significantly worse in patients who are morbidly obese and noncompliant with physician instructions. I wish you the best in your continued recovery.
Dr. Williams removed my appendix in July. I had an allergic reaction to the pain medication and she refused to even call me back. But the worst part is that I was having abdominal pains in November that felt exactly like appendicitis. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with appendicitis. So, I had to have ANOTHER surgery to get all of my appendix out. Dr. Williams left part of it in during the first surgery. UNBELIEVABLE!
Business response:
I am sorry to read of your postoperative difficulties, and your reaction to the pain medication as I don't recall being informed of either situation. A residual appendix is a recognized entity usually requiring additional surgery, as in your case. It is more common after a laparoscopic surgery, especially if infection and inflammation obscure the anatomy. Not fun for the patient, to be sure, but it does happen. I am glad your problem was taken care of.
She straight-up lied to me and my family about what was happening with my father.. She's an ignorant and malignant person who doesn't deserve the title of doctor.
Business response:
I am sorry to read of the difficulties with your father's care. While I do not recall the specifics of your father's case, I can assure you I have never engaged in dishonesty or the withholding of truth and information from my patients or their family members. Perhaps this was a miscommunication that could have been clarified by bringing your concerns to my attention. We would then have been able to sit down for a friendly discussion. Again, my apologies for your unsatisfactory experience.
