Very pleased with the work that was completed using Shannon Staley and Sons. My project felt complicated to me because inside and outside demo and restoration was involved. SSS was a referral to me and I thank everyone involved.
SSS is a solid company. They did a large chunk of my home remodel including ceilings and floors. Very helpful along the entire process with a straightforward approach. They were willing to help me with my home despite some complicated details, working through any hiccups that arose. Everyone I met over the several months they spent working on my house was polite, helpful, respectful, and friendly. Great people; definitely would recommend!
We started working with SS&S after "parting ways" with the original contractor on our custom home. They took on the challenging project from the in-place concrete foundation walls and brought our new home to completion in March 2024. Reached out to SS&S about an estimate on an attic renovation. After sending pictures and talking on the phone a few times, I set up an appointment. A couple days before the appointment, the project manager told me it would cost $200, just for the estimate. I canceled the appointment. If I'm going to pay money to receive an estimate, this should be clearly stated upfront, not divulged a day before the appointment.
When we first spoke with SS&S to get a bid on our project, I was sure this would be a 5 star review. Unfortunately, as soon as we signed the contract, we became cash in their pockets and deprioritized. The “project manager” completely failed to communicate with us during the project - we had to ask to set up weekly meetings to stay informed with progress or lack there of.
