My review is not for Dr. Colohan, but for her practice. I was referred by my primary care physician (a referral is required for elective cosmetic surgery) and I was sent a denial letter. Contacted the practice to find out why and there was no explanation. The representative hung up on me without answering a reasonable question: hearing great things about this practice, how can I get an appointment for evaluation? Very disappointing. This practice was highly recommended by a contact in the Evergreen OR.

I had a terrifying DIEP Flap journey with Dr Shannon Colohan. Following my surgery in February 2024, onn numerous occasions, I told her I was having problems, and she mostly dismissed them. The last time we communicated. Dr Colohan told me she had never heard of my symptoms, could not help me, and she refused to give me any referrals. Dr Colohan is the best surgeon. Unfortunately I have had to see a number of times due to cancer recurrence, she is super personable, caring and empathetic. I feel confident with every surgery that she wil take care of me. I feel like she goes above and beyond with her care. She's also great at what she does in terms of surgical outcomes.

I underwent bilateral breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy. She successfully revised previous failed/complicated reconstruction surgery. She also had a great positive energy that also brought me a positive surgery outcome. Dear Dr. Colohan, I really appreciate to you!!
