I was treated by Dr Shanker as an adolescent and then again as an adult due to some minor tooth movement. Dr Gary, along with the other Docs, are amazing. The best in their field and so kind. I always felt very welcome and comfortable in the office. I would highly recommend them!
My son went to Dr Shankar with horrid teeth. He's half Asian and was born with a European teeth and an Asian jaw line. His teeth were too big for his mouth! The office has been wonder to our family. They worked with us on payments not covered by insurance and took wonderful care of our son. His smile is the best advertisment this office can show! Bravo! Nearly every tooth in my mouth was not straight, I was unable to close my mouth, and I was really self concious about my smile.. That was until I met Dr. Shanker and his staff. I was in Junior high when my mother found him, I wore a head gear, Jasper jumper, Herpst and speed braces over the course of my treatments. He takes forever to get the job done on your child's teeth. I really, and honestly would not recommen d you to send your child to Dr. Shanker.
I am a 31 yo who had had braces as a teenager. I went to Dr. Shanker based on recs from others and have been very happy. Instead of trying to fit me with expensive braces, he is trying to work with a special retainer in hopes that will take care of things. Also, I have jaw clicking and instead of recommending costly and painful surgery, he recommended an easy to do exercise that has done wonders.
