I was lucky enough to get a last-minute appointment with Monty (who is a very nice man) to have my hair cut/colored. Unfortunately, it did not come out how I was expecting. While I went in looking for a collarbone length cut with lots of piecey layers and pops of blonde, I ended up with Kelly Clarkson's 2020 skunky highlights look and only a few long layers/face framing. Meera gave me the best hair cut of my life! She was incredibly conscious and thoughtful about how to cut it so it would grow out nicely. The salon was nice, clean, and relaxing. Definitely would recommend to anyone who would like a great hair cutting experience.

Rachel is an absolute master of her craft. Tired of my old dull middle age hairstyle (or lack thereof) I landed at Shank with a few pics and general idea of what I wanted. Rachel listened, heard me, synthesized, and made an awesome mullet for me. Now my hubby won't stop singing me Joan Jett songs... Thank you Rachel!
