Dr. Shanis goes above and beyond; she asks tons of questions and is genuinely concerned about all aspects of patient health, not just the issue she’s treating you for. Highly recommend!
My mother has been a patient of Dr. Shanis for 7 years and she has been wonderful to work with through her treatment. She always felt like she was listened to and cared for regardless of what was brought up.
What a mess! Refused to bill medical insurances and instead kept dunning patient with bills and nasty notes. Ugly, decrepit office looks and feels like something insidious goes on there. Waste of time ... I should have checked her 'credentials' before calling her. Beware!
I have been a patient of Dr. Shanis for over 3 years now. I came to Dr. Shanis as a 50 year woman with hormonal issues and an unspecified autoimmune disorder. I had many symptoms that baffled my rheumatologist and primary doctors. She took the time to listen, answers all of my questions, and ordered all of the tests necessary to figure out what medicines would help me feel better.
