We have been visiting Shangri-La Resort for 5 years now to do our research field work. Lori and the crew have always been so accommodating. This is the first year we were able to actually stay in the cabins. If you’re looking for a more cost effective and quiet substitute to the town of Bemidji visit this wonderful place.

Great place to relax. Lake is beautiful, cabins are nice.
What an incredible place to have a vacation! Flew in from Austin, TX and had the best time. The best part is that the resort is clean and nice, yet holds an old rustic feel. The resort always has a plethora of activity options available all included with the stay. The lake is relatively quiet and calm as there aren’t a bunch of houses on it. Love the stay and would gladly come back!! Thank you Laurie for the hospitality!!
