Visited a friend who was staying. Nice historical house. Certain things are dated and need updates like deck and appliances. But it is comfortable and has a good location.
Comfortable. Historic. (Hemingway was married the first time in the house). Only 2 full baths which was a little uncomfortable for a group of 9. Within walking distance to the lake.
A fantastic opportunity to walk in the footsteps of a legendary author and see what he may have seen. A treasure for any adventure seeker!
Had a Excellent time, Beautiful Historic home, Wonderful Hostess. Ernest Hemingway and his bride stayed in the house and visited many times. 2 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. Many friends and happy memories will stay with us for many yrs. Explored the area, fished, swimming and friend rented a pontoon boat and we All had a Blast!!
