Honestly the best dumplings I’ve had in Calgary, I’ve come at least 3 or 4 times within the past 2 months! The food is always super fresh and delicious, I would say the price of the dishes is great for the quality. It does take around 15-20 minutes for your order to come out, which I do believe is worth it since it tastes super fresh and seems to be made-to-order, so order ahead if you’re short on time. Walked in on a Sunday for lunch. Only one staff. Waited to be acknowledged only to be told they have no tables if we have a group over 4 people. Waiter/server was obviously stressed. Need better management and customer service. Lots of people look like they have been waiting for their food for a while. Place also smelled.
We came across this restaurant while exploring Chinatown and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. All of the tables were occupied when we arrived, so we assumed the restaurant must be popular for a reason. However, the experience did not live up to our expectations. Wanted 55$ for Shanghai noodles, the food itself is 19.50 delivery fee 3.99 there is absolutely no way there should 26$+ in service fees. Shame on them.
Never did any review before but this is the WORST experience I ever had in Calgary! I waited 15 minutes to be able to place my order and another 15 minutes for my starter. When I finally got my siu long bao, the waitress didn’t even offer me a bowl or plates for the sauce until I asked. No water and drinks until you asked.
