Impeccable service, but very disappointing food (Travelzoo set menu)
The food here was terrible for the price they were charging it was ridiculous. Ruined our New Year’s Eve dinner! Paying �200 only to get dry steak and fried food with terrible sauce. Also not mention had really bad stomach just after we left the restaurant.
Won't be going back. My Prawns were not cooked in the middle. My sea bream fish was cold in the middle. Was not worth my long trip from Surrey to Victoria.
Christmas Eve dinner included a 30% discount. The ambiance and service were good, but only two points of note. First, we would have expected larger prawns (shrimp) than six tiny ones in the bowl of sweet and sour prawns. Second, you would think that rice would be included as a side rather than an upcharge due to the ala carte menu. Third, there were about three sets of stairs leading into the restaurant, which might prohibit wheel-chair bound patrons from easily entering.
