TERRIBLE!!! Customer service is the most atrocious thing I have ever heard! I co-own a restaurant and couldn't imagine ever talking to one of my paying customers this way! Food took 1.5 hours , called to inquire about it , no answer at restaurant . Finally got food , called restaurant to express displeasure , food cold , crab rangoons were empty shells. Surly service! I went in to pick up my order and told the cashier i needed to add to my order. She said OK , then answered the phone. she put down the phone, I said i need to order. She says "ok", but as I start to speak, she picks up the phone. TEN minutes later she still has not taken our order, but has managed to take three phone orders. I asked for her name, but she refused.

Everything is overpriced by 30%. All items on the menu are usually edible but never delicious. A couple of times I've had to thow all my food in the trash because it was so bad, so "leftover", it could not be eaten by a reasonable person. Last Minute Option... The food is ok. But when you step into the restaurant it smells like crap. I think they may have a sewage or drain issue it smells in there. I find the food to be a bit pricey, and ok at best. Not the best food in town but i guess if you have a chinese craving these will be the only ones open after 10pm.
Shanghai Express If you want Chinese and there is no other option, Shanghai Express is not a bad place. They have a good selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Popular choice for university students.
Yuk! – This is the very first uncomplimentary review I have ever submitted about a restaurant. Where to begin? How about the dried out fried rice that even power lubrication could not save. Or the shrimp with cashews in garlic sauce, perhaps better called dessicated sea food particles with gravel in hot pepper mush. We ordered delivery to a downtown hotel. OMG! This place is disgusting.....i think just ate a cat! please god do not order from this horid place....its like eating chicken fried with a very special yak sauce. – In addition to the aforementioned, the delivery guy was th greasiest mother f'er ive ever seen. Last resort Honestly, the only reason these guys are in business is because they are across the street from NCSU and deliver until 2:00am every day. I do order from here after 10:00 when i need a quick fix, but if its before ten, i order elsewhere. Meat is scraps, containing alot of grissle and they mince there vegetables into succatash of who knows what, probably because its a bag of birdseye, CHINA PEARL ALL DAY!!!
