Some time ago now, my Mercedes 450 SEL had to go over pits as I was late paying rego because I had changed PO Box from Bunbury to Picton and inadvertently omitted to notify Dept of Transport. Vehicle in perfect order. Shane Williams (an ex policeman I believe) failed it and told me to get the engine steam cleaned. I took it down the road 5 minutes to my regular mechanic, who laughed. Very overpriced services , charged me $400 solely for oil change service which is so much higher compared to any other auto shop in the town .
Oh my, what a debacle. After driving for 45 mins to get to one of the few places to be rorted by the D.O.T., Shane managed to not realise what car make and model he was inspecting. So it wasn't until after I'd actually licensed the car I noticed that the make and model were wrong. How can you look at a Mazda and call it an Isuzu? 🤷♂️ So now I've had to waste another day because I've had to come in person to get the vehicle 'reinspected' for Shane to correct his stuff up.
