No one likes to get Root Canals, but if I had a choice I would get them done by Dr. Shane Clark, at Advanced Endodontics. The front staff is friendly, and it has a really nice calming atmosphere inside the practice. Dr. Clark is a master. I didn't feel any pain throughout the entire procedure and his team walked me through every step of process. I am beyond elated and satisfied, and although I hope I don't EVER need a root canal, its reassuring to know that Dr. Clark is one of the best in the city.
Other than quality of work, I judge the quality of an orthodontist's office based on three criteria. Is there a television blaring inanity in the waiting room? Is terrible pablum-level music -- think Orleans' "Dance with Me" -- playing while I'm in defenseless in the reclining chair, unable to turn it off or cover my ears? And does the medical practitioner treat me as a fellow intelligent person who happens to be in a different profession, or are they condescending? Shane Clark's office has none of these issues. Dr. Shane Clark was kind and informative at both my initial appointment and root canal. His staff were very nice and answered all my questions every time I called and in person. The root canal was quick and painless (minus the slight pinch from the numbing needle). Overall a great experience and would highly recommend Dr. Shane Clark to anyone needing an endo specialist.
I have no doubt the Dr Clark is very capable at his chosen profession and does very good work. However, my intereactions with his front office after my root canal lacked professionalism and were border line condescending. I highly suggest he send his staff to customer service training.
