Horrible surgeon! He cut my aorta during laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. Hospital Administrator told my family if I lived I would probably be in a vegetative state of mind. Many years of pain and another surgery to fix problems. God had other plans for me. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!!
Dr. Shanahan is not only an excellent surgeon, but is a wonderful man! He took out my husband's gallbladder a couple of years ago and just recently removed a very large lipoma on my upper arm that has been plaguing me for 25 years. I had little money and no insurance, but this very generous man made it possible for me to have it removed. I can't thank him enough! Once it is completely healed, the scar will hardly be noticeable.
