Be careful w/ this one - she is operation-happy. My mom fractured her ankle, and the dr was adamant that she needed surgery to prevent arthritis. One day before the surgery, the dr had an emergency and my mom was told to reschedule the surgery. Luckily, she decided to get a second opinion - two different ortho surgeons said she did NOT need a surgery. She followed their advice and is doing well seven years later!

The doctor was fine during my visit, took Xrays, sent me to get a blood test for gout, seemed normal and detailed. I've now been trying to get her to return my call to tell me my results for 3 days. The office isn't even answering my calls for the last day. I don't understand what I need to do to get a response from my blood test. This is ridiculous when it pertains to my health.
