Their is a new owner at this facility. The new company is called Live to Assist and they renovated and are doing a wonderful job!
If this statement were true why do we continue to care for seniors and have a 1 to 4 resident to aide ratio 24 hours a day. The unhappy employee who was fired, for not doing the quality of care we require, is just using this site to get back on us. I am willing to give you a list of any family member who has had members at my home and they will attest to the level of extended care their love ones receive. Our mother has been at Shamrock Manor for 4 years. She and her family are very happy with the facility and all of its employees. Everyone is very kind, courteous and attentive. The costs are reasonable and the small size and homelike environment make it an excellent choice for aging parents.
Shamrock Manor is not only overly expensive and nothing more than a cash cow for its owner, but the owner abuses both residents and employees. A sign in the living room reads "This is our residents home and we are their guests." But during days that are 95+ degrees outside, and hotter inside, the A.C. unit (which is old and useless) is ordered off by the owner so that she may save the pennies.
