The experience with Shalom for my parent was less than good. The first time we used them, my severely disabled mother had to wait 1-1/2 hours to be picked up from her appointment to take her back home. The second time we used them, the driver was careless and caused a 3-inch skin tear off of her right arm which required a wound doctor's attention. The third and final time we used Shalom, the driver arrived 50 minutes late which caused my mother to be late for her doctor's appointment and was told she was too late to be seen ... read more
The Best!! Last week I was helping my mother out of the car for her dialysis when her knees buckled and she fell. I held her but could bot pick her up and placing her on the ground was not an option either. Two young drivers from Shalom Ambulette quickly came over like angels from Heaven and assisted us. Wonderful One of my patients was in the process of being discharged, the ambulette arrived promptly, the gentleman that came to pick my patient up was very polite. About 20 minutes after they had left the facility my patients husband showed up and had the intention of riding along with his wife down to the bronx. I called Shalom and asked If its possible to bring him along. That day it was raining cats and dogs.
