He’s been running fishing charters and exploring Tampa Bay’s 450 square miles of waterways since 1998. He knows all of the best fishing spots that surround Tampa Bay and will take you where the fishing is hot. David has fished many of the tournaments here in Tampa Bay & Clearwater, Florida, and has taken first place multiple times!

He was knowledgeable and professional and made sure that we knew what we were doing in order to catch all of the fish successfully! Dave does a great job. We have fished with him 3 times in under 2 years. We always catch fish, equipment works great and bait fish are already caught. Yes, I would fish with Dave again.
I have to say that this was one of the best fishing trips my wife and I have ever been on, and we've been on quote a few. Captain Dave was fun and we caught allot of fish. We started out about 9 miles out where we caught about 30 or so fish of various sizes and species. We worked our way back, still catching fish until we got to our last stop where we caught our limit on reddish. We also caught grouper, sheepshead, trout and snapper. Five stars for Shallow Point Tampa Fishing Charter and Captain Dave Bedee!
omg!!! we caught over 30 fish in four hours. It was unbelievable trout schnook redfish. Captain was absolutely amazing. highly recommend
PHENOMENAL DAY OF FISHING!!! Dave is the man. A top-notch guide. His professionalism and hospitality are second ONLY to his passion for guiding a successful trip. My family of 5 had the best day landing shark, snook, reds, trout, and an oddball lady fish on our in-shore trip. Due to the pristine water conditions, we were fortunate to also see manatee, turtle, rays, and dolphin swimming freely around us.
