My son and I called Captain David on a very short notice, and he was able to accommodate us. He is very professional, very focused on Fishing and his primary goal throughout the whole trip was to get us on fish, which he did successfully. This is the guy to go with!!! He loves fishing and wants you to catch fish as much as you do. Me and my Father in Law fished for 3 days and had the best saltwater trip of our lives. That’s saying something about this charter service as we are avid fishermen and have fished Costa Rica to Alaska and this is the spot. Hard fishing for two days that yielded some fantastic fish. We had the best day with Captain David. My almost 5 year old son really wanted to go on a boat and catch a big fish. This was the perfect trip for all ages. Everyone was able to reel in some keepers! We learned about the different fish, habitat and the area. We caught 5 different species of fish including a some monster snook, red fish and trout! We also got to see sting rays and a playful pod of dolphins! Definitely call Shallow water for a day of great memories!!

Had a great time and caught several species; snook, redfish, speckled trout, snapper, and saw some dolphin up close! Captain David was very knowledgeable and made the trip great. Boat was spacious, gear was top-notch, and our whole family was accommodated nicely. David even pointed us to a local restaurant that cooked our catch for us which made it even better! Would definitely recommend if you’re from Tampa Bay, or just visiting.
