RecommendedDuring this pandemic I broke the nose piece on my glasses. I need my glasses to read and work on the computer. I tried an old pair with no success. I tried several optical places and was unable to find any that could help me. In fact it was basically indicated to me that when places did reopen there would be a wait to get an appt. I have gone to Shallcross Optical for about the last 10 years now and they are the BEST! They have always had GREAT customer service and they do EXCELLENT work, which I don't say lightly because I have to wear prisms in my glasses and the lenses are pretty thick. My glasses have never fallen apart and if they have ever broken, it's been MY fault! You just don't get this kind of service anymore. Use them!
My family has gone to shallcross optical for many yrs. my oldest son is 32 yrs old & has worn glasses since he was 3. Mr. Smith, the owner, was very caring & professional & knew & did his job well. My son wore superman glasses for many yrs until he started getting older & changed frames. Robbie has done a great job taking over the business. I need to get my eyes examined & get in to see Robbie. It's been a while. Would recommend them to others.
Owner Rob Smith goes above and beyond when it comes to serving others. His two attendants Diana Smith and Jane are courteous, kind and very knowledgeable. Our family highly recommends Shallcross.
