Thx to peninsula orthopedics PT and Dr. Patel I'm back doing what I like to do!
It's a blessing to have Dr. Patel on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He performed the first XLIF ever at Tidal Health on July 2, 2024, on me and saved my back. Great, understanding doctor/surgeon and we are lucky to have him here.
Dr Patel seemed rush and gave the impression that he did not want to spend much time. He was hardly in the room 5 min and was standing at the door holding it open.I did ask a few questions, but he never did sit down and talk to me to explain them. Will be seeking another doctor willing to spend more time with their patients.
Office visit to discuss options for my spinal stenosis. Dr. Patel was an excellent listener and very detailed explaining my surgery options. I immediately felt comfortable with him. As far as skills go, he was highly recommended as being the best surgeon I will find by one of my other physicians.. I’ll let you know!
Everything went great and learned a lot and there is a plan in motion
