I would definitely recommend Shalimar Fence for your fence projects, I have worked with them twice and both times been completely satisfied. My most recent project was a horizontal wood fence that required dealing with some significant elevation changes and the project came out just as I wanted and expected. Outstanding work and excellent staff.
I’ve have never been more discouraged with a fence company. This company leaves an absolute mess in their wake. Debris, dirt, concrete, rocks…and will they clean it up…nope. I was told this is the standard protocol as it’ll eventually be “absorbed.” I’ve spent weekends trying to clean up their carnage. Beyond that, my new fence rattles in a breeze, wobbles if you apply pressure, and isn’t close to level. Had them install a fence for our HOA almost a year ago. Two issues from the manufacturer were corrected quickly and without any problem and of course no charge. I would recommend them.
Our experience did not live up to the other reviews. After we signed the contract, it was a long wait for installation with little communication. They were supposed to call before coming, but showed up unannounced. Workmanship was disappointing. Salesperson and owner did respond to our complaints but the corrections were barely satisfactory. Workers left job site a mess; cigarette butts in yard, nails in driveway, piles of dirt not cleaned up, etc. Did we get what we paid for? We feel like we did not get the quality we were ... read more
