Just as a warning to anyone looking to buy from Dan at Shaleridge Auto. I came in with my mom and he sold me my first car for 4900. Kilometers were at 395k, it was a 2002 Honda Civic. We were obviously way to fast to buy the thing but Dan talked me and my mom into it. He promised (not in writing) that if anything went wrong on the vehicle within the first month I could bring it back to him and he would repair it for free. RUDE! This guy needs to go back to school to learn how to deal with customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Guy spoke fast, and wouldnt give my husband and I time to look over the car. Made us feel less because we only had a budget of 5, 000. Blessing in disguise as I purchased my car from a more transparent and honest dealer.
I phoned Dan to merely inquire about a vehicle and I thought he was rude. Then, after reading about the many, really bad experiences from customers, I'm not going anywhere near this typical shady used car business. My friend is a master mechanic and told me to watch for the very thing that some of the reviews mentions; them not wanting to answer questions about the history of the car!
