My daughter is a track & xc athlete! She tore her hamstring. Dr. Kouk has been amazing to work with, kind and caring person. He did an amazing job on her surgery! We are truly so grateful for him and his care. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. The way he speaks to his patients is so calming. My daughter was so scared of surgery and he made her feel so at ease and everything went perfect. If you have an athlete this is who they need to see!
When I went to Dr. Kouk after twisting my knee, I could barely walk. There was significant damage, plus bone-on-bone arthritis. I was skeptical that a course of fairly conservative treatment with a cortisone injection would get me back to the mobility I wanted. To my amazement, over the next several days the pain subsided and the mobility returned. Now I am confident that whatever the problem, he's seen it before and knows how to treat it.
An urgent care referred me to treat knee pain. I'm often a little apprehensive around male doctors, but Dr. Kouk was welcoming and kind when I saw him. He didn't belittle me or speak negatively about my weight, and his manner was both professional and friendly.
I was referred to Dr Kouk by my primary for severe shoulder pain. This guy has wonderful bedside manners, very respectful, completely explains everything and gives options on treatment. Waiting on surgery date. So far he’s a10.
