I chose this doctor based on the overwhelming positive reviews but I am not impressed. After waiting several months for an appointment, Dr. Shakir spent 10 minutes with me. I showed him photo documentation of awful hives and eczema flare ups I have been experiencing for over a year, and explained that I cannot figure out the cause after doing several different elimination diets and stopping all medications. Dr Shakir have helped us understand our sons peanut and egg allergies. He was able to help him build up immunity. We highly recommend him as he’s the smartest doctor we’ve been to.
Helped with my daughter’s peanut allergy. Great office and I’m so glad we found Dr. Shakir.

Dr. Shakir and his team were truly phenomenal. We came feeling very anxious about our daughter’s allergy, but we felt so comforted by Dr. Shakir‘s thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and bedside manner. He took so much time with us and put together a detailed treatment plan to desensitize our daughter from her allergy. Getting a diagnosis of a severe allergy in your child is very stressful but Dr. Shakir somehow managed to leave us feeling hopeful about the future.
