Love shakewell! It’s a great little spot and I’m so happy they were able to keep the outdoor area. Everyone who works there is absolutely lovely!
I just went there for the first time in forever, and it was not the experience I was expecting. Did you know that on Tuesdays they do live jazz? In that small restaurant with amps and mics and nothing to dampen the sound of horn instruments? I didn't, and when I tried to catch up with a friend, the entire meal was just us repeating, "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" while a trumpet blared behind us.
