Chester always provides friendly, professional service and makes you feel welcome every time. He's a great asset to the Shakespeare Hotel and always goes above and beyond. Highly recommended!
Great location, within walking distance to the city but also close enough to airport and Paget. Room was clean, beds are comfy, bathrooms could do with an upgrade but function fine. Staff was pleasant and recommended a nice restaurant for dinner. Laundry and Pool is handy
This is easily the best motel in Mackay! Yesterday we were driving for a long time and weren’t expecting to arrive until around 3:00 a.m. We contacted several motels, but they all turned us away, saying they had no rooms available. Although the owner of Shakespeare Motel was clearly in a difficult position, they still kindly agreed to accommodate us.
