Shaker Workshops manufactures measured reproductions of original Shaker furniture and oval boxes. Whenever possible, we use exactly the same grade and species of wood as in the originals. We buy from mills with as many as five generations of experience in selecting and seasoning lumber. Shaker Workshops furniture is produced by our own skilled craftspeople here in Massachusetts. This company is an absolute NIGHTMARE--terrible customer service, month long delays, lack of character, and hoarding your money for months on end. Without going into too many details, we ordered a piece over a year ago. It wasn't in stock, and MONTHS later they finally contacted me and asked if I wanted it. We said "no". They sent it anyway. Then never sent UPS to come and pick it back up. Then LIED to the credit card company about the events that had taken place. We finally got our money back from them just this week, alon... read more
