i love me a burger with avocado
Not very busy yet the burger looked thrown together. There's a few nice restaurants here so no need to eat here unless you'redesperate. Its just fast food. The mushroom part of the burger was deep fried and pretty greasy. Made me feel ill.
A worker essentially kicked us out at 9:45 PM when the DEN website (and Google) itself says the restaurant closes at 11 and people were still ordering. Given that it is overpriced and an airport, I thought they would be less anal after customers spent $35+ on what is still fast food. This was my second time coming here for a layover flight, and I won't be coming again after this, especially after this service, a lukewarm burger, and these prices. Really disappointing.
Food was good! The shakes weren’t the best (melted and warm) but they were very fast at getting it out. However, cashier staff were impatient and somewhat rude. We were standing in line waiting to get called forward when the kid started yelling rather than call us forward. We apologized and he wouldn’t even look at us. Alright, whatever, his day probably sucks. Tried asking for the Hamburger meal and the guy at the counter kept changing it to the ShackBurger to charge more. I suppose the reason why Chick fil a (next door) serves 5 customers to shake shakes 1 is, they have a sense of urgency, and don't make jokes about flies in the hashbrowns. ...then serves them. I returned them, because of the flies. I was not even offered a replacement. So, $16+ for a breakfast sandwich. Should have just got a snack at Hudson.
