I strongly advise against seeing this doctor. I went to Baylor with a breathing problem. I saw a pulmonary doctor who diagnosed me with asthma, even though it didn't fit with my symptoms at all. I carried that incorrect, serious diagnosis for years. I then saw a different doctor in the pulmonary department who read my test results wrong. I had to ask for an another doctor. As a physician myself, I have a good idea of what I look for in my own medical care and Dr. Shaib has it all. I was impressed with both her thoroughness and her thoughtfulness on my first visit. She took a complete medical history and then tailored her exam to target those things she (and I!) thought were important. She presented a plan of action which has proven to be very, very helpful and nailed the diagnosis when I was most skeptical.
