I was so very comfortable with Dr.Majidi and his assistant, answered all my questions with ease,His assistant put my mind at ease as soon as I saw her, reminded me of my niece.
I’ve had 3 visits since July and not once have I met the doctor themselves at an appointment. I had PAs instead, and they were nice, but it was a different PA each time, which felt highly impersonal and transactional. This entire situation made me feel very neglected after the most traumatic injury of my life. The doctor could've taken 5 minutes out of their day to speak to me, for at least one of those appointments, and they didn’t. My advice is to find a doctor that cares enough to meet you face-to-face.
I visited Dr. Shahram Majidi at New York City Mount Sinai’s Cerebro Vascular Center seeking help in interpreting the presence of white matter in my brain MRI. I was aware that I needed to see a highly qualified specialist to interpret this concerning detection of white matter in my brain MRI. Dr. Desiree Chow, my General Practitioner at Mount Sinai, did excellent research to determine that I needed to see a Vascular Neurologist and she recommended Dr. Majidi.
