Dr. Carrigan is incredible. You can absolutely tell she cares about you. I feel so blessed to have her as my therapist. If you are going through a difficult time, or even if you're not and you just want someone wonderful who will listen AND give you useful advice and be frank when it's needed. I would best describe Dr. Carrigan as an angel / life coach put on earth to help people and guide them back on track. I actually came across Dr. Carrigan by referral from two different friends (separate instances) who absolutely adored her. Both were going through extremely rough times and like I mentioned she guided them back to happiness. It was without a doubt that I called her when I too was going through a rough patch. With her guidance, motivation, wisdom, empathetic kindness, skills and professionalism Dr. Carrigan is a true life saver and angel. I am a new patient and because of Covid my appointment was over the phone. Dr. Carrigan is so warm and friendly that I immediately felt at ease and working with her is a pleasure. She immediately responded to my first email and everything was taken care of very quickly after that.
I picked Shahin Carrigan because she is Iranian and my wife preferred to see a Farsi speaking MFT. She was not impartial or fair at all. My perception of her is that she is biased and egocentric; she was more concerned to prove her point and that she was right about her assessment of the situation (even if wrong) than to listen and try to solve the problem for which we were seeking her help.
