I waited close to a week before they called in my meds.They never returned my phone calls, even when I was having trouble with my meds. I went off them and he must think I'm still on them. I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Shaw.Second opinions are best.
He is wonderful with my son he has helped him so much with the headaches that have plagued him all his life!
Great Doctor listened to both myself and my mother on our conditions and worked a plan of care that did not male us wait six weeks or more highly recommended
I was referred to Dr. Shah after he saw me in the ER for my migraines. I saw him and the only thing he wanted to do was put me on medication. I don't have chronic migraines just occasional and to go on harsh medicine daily just because seemed like overkill. He wouldn't even talk about alternatives. I would recommend him if you really like to take drugs, but not if you dont.
In my opinion he was not wiling to listen to patient imput. My husband was there to request a EEC for tremors and numbness in hands since car accident. He said no it was in the brain and put him on drugs to ease symptoms. We have since sought treatment else where and did discover that there is a problem in his cervical spine. I have learned through this experience that one has to become your own advocate and listen to your own instinct and not that of a doctor who does not listen.
