First of all. the name Shagbark has nothing to do with kinky dogs in England, it comes from a Shagbark hickory tree that grew along the James River. I'm a Lyft driver who took someone to work there today, I decided to try it later. I dined alone so I have only a limited selection to review. I started with Fried Green Tomatoes. This was my first time here and the host at the front door was very inviting. My friend and I got drinks and appetizers, and the complimentary bread and butter. Virginia was our server, who was phenomenal! Shout out to Virginia.
