Dr Shafritz is an excellent surgeon. I was an unusual case and severe. He took care of me and now I’m fine. He is compassionate and caring and thorough.He made me feel relaxed and comfortable at all times. He never made me feel rushed and answered any question that I had. He is personable and gentle while being professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone. His 33 years of experience shows greatly . He is a credit to the profession. I give him 5 stars

I just learned from my husband and his mother that during their appointment - he was extremely rude, intimidating as well as dismissive of the radiologist's reading of an ultrasound image. He may be a good doctor - as he stated that it's normal to have some plaque in the arteries at this age, but no intervention required. I can only hope that he's correct and hasn't left our mother in danger. He could have communicated the same information with less hostility. It might be worth finding another doctor.
Dr Shafritz is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable and answers all of my questions. He took the time to explain everything about my condition, and did a thorough examination before discussing my options. I am very pleased with the results of my surgery. He really knows his stuff. I refer all of my friends and family to him as well.
I would definitely not recommend this doctor. He disrespects women and he has no patience to answer questions. He is rude and uncaring.
