Salesman told us that if we bought gas from them that there would be no rental fee for the tank! Just got charged a rental fee because we didn't use the tank capacity during the year. I told them it was for emergency if the power went out. I feel this to be false advertising when the salesman stated no rental fee!! Very disgusted, looking for alternatives

been a customer for 8 years. They charge way more if you dont use enough propane! Customer service is terrible! They actually hung up the phone on me because I was upset of being overcharged for fuel and 185 dollars tank rental fee for not using enough! unacceptable!! I need to heat my home with this fuel so this is serious to me. Bought a gas furnace from them also! they dont want to hear my concerns! Go with another company!

Being new to gas appliances, a fireplace, and being slightly afraid of gas, the people at Shaffer's Bottled Gas were/are so nice and very accommodating! The tech that came to install my fireplace and set things up was so understanding of my fears and explained and answered all my questions.
