DO NOT USE THIS PLACE AT ALL. I overnighted my ECM to them and had to call to see what was going on with my ECM. Kept getting the run around. one day its on the work bench getting worked on, then they couldn't get mine to program that they were using another one they had there. Then the were shipping mine out that day. I call the next day and it was shipping that day. Call back 3 days later and they said they couldn't fix that ECM either that they had to order one. 3rd time here for repair work at Shafer's Diesel, and they have taken care of me every time. The first time was starting issues that many other shops couldn't fix. Never had any issues since I saw Shafer Diesel. This visit was about a radiator leak. Had me in the bay with no appointment and was working on the problem in under 2hrs and was out the next day. Most places around were telling me 3-5 days. Not here, only 24 hours, and I'm back on the road. Thanks guys

Had issues with my cpc.. took it in for repairs.. Had a couple issues we got fixed and everything worked great.. Great service and definitely a life saver.. thanks

I was referred to send my driver into this shop to take a look at the CPC4 on a Cascadia and Lawrence got us in the same day and determined that we had a separate issue and in fact our CPC4 was still good. I never had an issue getting a hold of him on the phone and he was over the top in the hospitality that he showed my driver. Due to an issue outside of his control the part we needed wasn't going to arrive until Saturday morning (they're normally closed on the weekend) but he came into the shop anyway and got the part inst... read more

I am in Florida. We were referred to Shafer's to repair an ECM for one of our trucks. We shipped the part and wired them the money to do the repair. I called multiple times to check on the status and was told that Mr. Shafer was in the hospital. I gave it a month and called again, and was told that the part was repaired and they would be sending it overnight the next day. WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR ECM AND THEY HAVE STOPPED ANSWERING THE PHONE AND TEXTS! THEY ALSO KEPT OUR MONEY!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!! THEY RIP PEOPLE ... read more
