For the second year, I made a special trip to Shady Rest Tree Farm in Glendale Springs, NC to pick out a farm fresh Christmas tree. I chose this farm due to their variety of trees outside of the native Fraser Fir. They grow: Concolor Fir, Korean Fir, Turkish Fir, Nordmann Fir, Canaan Fir, White Pine, and my favorite, the Colorado Blue Spruce. We had a fantastic experience from the word Go. Our company was tasked with locating a 16-20 foot tall Christmas tree for a client. Tim located a beautiful 20 foot tree for us. When we showed up, he and his guys took care of everything. Everyone was extremely courteous and efficient. They will absolutely be my first call for any Christmas tree needs in the future.
Shady Rest is a wonderful place to visit to get your Christmas Tree, and it's a local, family-owned business. It's located in a beautiful area of North Carolina and worth the drive!
