How this is a 3 star motel is beyond me, the lady at the front counter is rude, our DVD player didn't work and she just says oh well watch tv then, we got cockroaches in our room and not any cockroaches German ones the worst to have, the beds are hard and uncomfortable and the pillows flat, definitely not worth the $200 I paid for one night.
Very quiet location, clean and comfortable, hosts welcoming and friendly.

My brother and I recently booked two rooms at #ShadyRestMotel Gympie before leaving for Brisbane to catch his flight back to Malaysia. Absolutely the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. Amazed at how clean the sheets, beds and towels were and bathrooms and rooms were immaculate. I am a person who is hyper conscious of hygiene and this motel met all my expectations. Staff is extremely friendly and the manager Michael went out of his way to help us when I had a small problem locating my phone.
