My brother and I recently booked two rooms at #ShadyRestMotel Gympie before leaving for Brisbane to catch his flight back to Malaysia. Absolutely the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. Amazed at how clean the sheets, beds and towels were and bathrooms and rooms were immaculate. I am a person who is hyper conscious of hygiene and this motel met all my expectations. Staff is extremely friendly and the manager Michael went out of his way to help us when I had a small problem locating my phone.
We stayed at Shady Rest Motel for 2 weeks while passing through Gympie, and it exceeded our expectations for a budget-friendly stopover. The room was spotless—fresh linens, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water in the shower, and all the basics provided (towels, toiletries, tea/coffee facilities). Great spot, had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They accommodated all our needs. They got a brand new BBQ while we were there, the pool was amazing. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Stayed at Shady Rest Motel in Gympie and honestly couldn’t fault it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxed stay. The bed was comfy, the air-con worked perfectly, and it was nice and quiet at night. The owners were genuinely friendly and helpful, which always makes a big difference.
